What are the contents in your purse/pocketbook?
For years I didn't carry a pocketbook (didn't like the kids 'digging' through it all the time. I just started carrying one again this spring and it may have been a mistake to start. Contents: *full size wallet *coin purse *purse for bandaids/first aid (got tired of it rolling around *purse for coupons and discount store cards, etc. *pens and a small pad (getting very forgetful) *fingernail file *lipgloss (can't stand dry lips) *cellphone *stain remover wipes *baby wipes (have no babies just like things clean and nonsticky) *emergency woman products *mints *compact game books when little ones are bored for rides and waiting in drs. offices. I really need a compact mirror and a small pack of tissues. It seems like a lot but I buy only smaller size stuff so the purse can't be used as a weapon (so heavy it could knock someone out). So what's in your purse?
Most times my diaper bag has been used for my purse. When I do get out by myself and carry a purse it contains wallet women products lip gloss coupons gum I've learned to carry less since a heavy purse can cause neck/back pain
Not much....wallet, change purse, pen, chapstick, lipstick, bandaids, cell phone, a tampon, and a little travel size medicine carrier or Tylenol and Ibuprofen. My purse size gets smaller the older I get.
I think I have everything but the kitchen sink in mine! Off the top of my head: Wallet checkbook little make up bag calendar/date book tissues hand wipes small bottle of sunscreen tylenol hand cream car keys cell phone
When my kids were little I carried a backpack that contained diapers, wipes, change of clothes, water bottles, my wallet, bandaids, etc., etc.. Now that they're older I usually carry a backpack style purse that contains: 2 Epi-pens Benadryl Inhaler wallet cell phone small brush checkbook emergency woman products Blistex pen I try to travel lightly and only carry the bare necessities. . I remember my Mom carrying a huge purse that contained everything but the kitchen sink. LOL! We used to tease her but she was proud of always being prepared.
I forgot gum...always have gum!!
wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, tissue, lip gloss, bandaids, small bottle aspirin, and small travel size hand sanitizer, pen and small pad, and nail file. It sounds like a lot, but my purse isn't heavy at all.
Wallet, cellphone, and if I'm out, probably my keys. I have one pair of capris, that I LOVE, but they don't have pockets, and that's kind of a pain sometimes. I usually have way too many receipts, at any given time, though and have to make an effort to clean them out sometimes. I try not to carry too much stuff, sometimes, because it just gets too heavy!
I scaled back and bought a very small pocketbook. It holds my wallet, cell phone and car keys.
I am the opposite of Deanna, every year mine gets bigger, and like Vicki, EVERYTHING is in mine! wallet cellphone tube of hand cream 2 different sets of keys (1 for office) small makeup bag emery board reading glasses albuterol inhaler Purell hand wipes small pack of tissues Ink pens all my meds (that is what takes up so much room LOL) and - this is what takes up even *more* room - most of my bills - and I have a perfectly good reason for them hanging out in my bag! I have always like med. to lg. bags anyway, but since doing so much traveling last year, I like HUGE bags, so I can put everything in them and not have to worry about where stuff will go.
wallet, make-up bag with Tide pen, lipstick, chapstick, powder, tampon, glasses cleaners, advil, one Clairitin D), small pad of paper and pen, sunglasses, keys, cellphone, mosquito wipes, small sunscreen, and room to shove whatever else I need that day.
I forgot...I carry a travel size hand sanitizer, too!
Full size wallet, cell phone, hand sanitizer, band aids, kids and adult benadryl, mosquito wipes, powder compact, lip liner, lipstick, currently there is a happy meal toy in there .lol... and also a calender/planner. It's not big as most things are small
I have a tiny purse...LOL I have a small wallet, it holds a cc and a check card and my dl. It has a zipper pocket that I can put a little change or cash if I need it. I typically keep a tampon, a tube of carmex. I toss my cell phone in there on occasion. I do usually have a pen. I don't carry paper, I use reciepts if I need to write
Hmmm, wallet, lip gloss, chapstick, pen, cell, emergency tampon, small hand cream, sample bottle of my perfume, gum, cigarettes, 2 medicine bottles (daily meds), lighter, some reciepts, one of Madison't necklaces, and some other random crap floating around the bottom. I have a pretty small purse, but I manage to stuff it full!!
I don't carry much in mine since I prefer smaller purses. Right now I have my small wallet, cell phone, small tin of OTC meds, tampon, pen, tinted chapstick, compact and keys. Most of the other things mentioned can be found in the center console of my car! Sanitizing hand lotion, sunglasses, notepad, a couple of pieces of hard candy, nail file and tissues.
*Wallet *Check book *Two or three pens/small notebook (never without pen and paper!) *Tampons *Kleenex *Carmex *Date book *Keys to work *Gum *Asprin *Small calculator *Cell phone I think that's about it...
NOTHING, at least i dont' think anything, but since it's not in my possession I really have not idea My purse was stolen out of my car in my driveway Thursday night But normally Wallet many lip balms pens sunglasses (3-4- pair, it's a necessary addiction in AZ) Eye drops
Wallet keys cell phone pen lip stick sunglasses small calender, or date book tampons small hand cream small purell bottle altoids small mirror emery board when the kids were babies i opened my purse once and found a rubber ducky inside....that was the sign that i was definitely a mommy! LOL man that sounds like a lot of stuff, but the purse really isn't THAT big or heavy LOL
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Kym}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I'm sorry.
Thanks Karen, the biggest drag was my Corporate Check book being in it, so I have to cancel accts and re order checks, we just ordered 2k checks and 1k deposit slips and new stamps It was not fun e-mailing my sales force and asking them to cash checks and understand if one didnt clear
Ugh, that sucks, Kym!!
