I Have Some News
I'm going to be a mother-in-law next summer! Bobby proposed to his girlfriend, and they're planning a June 2007 wedding. I love this young lady like a daughter already, and could not be happier. She graduated from college last month, and Bobby gets out in December (and hopefully they both find jobs ).
That's wonderful news!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Congratulations!!!!! Seems like your son made a good choice as you love her already.

Now you can start with the fun stuff! Planning! I loved planning a wedding.
Thanks, y'all. They've been dating since a few months into their freshman year at college. She's the youngest of three girls, and he's the older brother of two sisters. She is incredibly kind and considerate, and cute as can be, with high morals and everything I could have chosen for my son. They've known for awhile that they would get married, but he did the traditional thing of going to her parents, took them to lunch and asked for her hand. He had the ring for about a month before popping the question while they were baking brownies at her house.
That is so sweet Kay! Best of luck to Bobby and his intended bride! My first thought is - you have beautiful children, and I am willing to bet Bobby and his young bride will make beautiful babies! LOL Rushing things *just* a bit, aren't I? LOL
Karen, I have to admit that at this point in my life, I definitely am looking forward to being a grandmother some day! I want them to have time to get settled down, but you won't find ME complaining whenever they choose to start a family!
