What did you ever decide? I can't find the original thread. You were wondering how much to charge the sister, for watching the kids in the summer.

I think the girl in question was about 13. It would have been 10-hour days to watch the 6yo and possibly a 3yo (I can't quite remember.)

You might be referring to me. I posted about my 13 year old dd watching my 6 yr old niece this summer and dh wanted to help his financially struggling brother out by basically having us do it for nothing.....we agreed on $75 per week and my dd is going to watch her 2 days a week and the other three I am in charge. I am a SAHM so I will be here ALL the time anyway.

Yeah, that was it! That sounds like a good solution. Your daughter can learn the responsibility of the job, but still be able to have fun with her friends.
