Baby Advice
I am hosting a baby shower for a friend and her husband. This is their first baby. I am putting together an advice book for them. On 4x6 cards I thought I would have the guests write some advice. I thought I would put the topic at the top of the card and let the guests write their advice for that topic. I need some ideas for topics. I have Colic, Teething, Baby games, Food, what are some other ideas? I will need about 20 or so. I will also leave some blank cards so people can put their own. What are some things that you wish someone would have told you before or even little tidbits that have really helped you. Breastfeeding, your own body healing, anything. My "babies" are almost 8 and 11 so I am out of the baby stage and I know that alot of you have "wee little ones". Thanks in advance Ladies!
Sleep Traveling (Short or Long) Clothing (Cheap)
I'm throwing a baby shower this weekend and I'm doing the same thing, only instead of using the cards I bought the cutest spiral bound book that matches the shower theme for people to write in (the cover is blue with a yellow rubber ducky on it). Here is the list I am putting in the front of the book to help people with ideas: Topic Suggestions -getting baby to sleep through the night -colic -teething -feeding (bottle/breast/babyfood) -traveling with baby -what to pack in diaper bag -playtime/entertaining baby -best advice you received when you had a baby -bathing -treating diaper rash -getting stains out of baby clothes -things that no one ever told you about being a mother -taking care of yourself after baby is born -general advice of your own HTH Have fun with your babyshower!

That's a great idea! I like all of Tunnia's suggestions. We did something similar at one of my bridal showers, only it was just a free-for-all for advice. I still look at those sometimes and think "Yup. That person knew what they were talking about!" Good luck! I think that would be fun for the guests (a trip down memory lane) and great for the parents-to-be (who are in for it!)
