My camera has been more places than I have
and it's just not fair! LOL I had loaned my sister my camera for her trip to Europe and when I got it back yesterday, the pictures she took were still on the memory card. I was looking through them and wishing I was there. I am feeling very envious at the moment. One day, hopefully, I can see those sites in person...
I'm so there with you, Sunny!! There are SO many places I'd love to see around this country and around the world!! It's actually painful to think about it sometimes because I want to go so badly and yet the resources are so far from my grasp. As a single, working Mom, I'm just barely making ends meet from month to month. *Sigh* All I can think is that someday it will happen . . . {{{HUGS}}}
Oh that would be so difficult to see pictures around the world on your OWN camera and you didn't take them. I bet she had a ball.
I would be thankful- she gave you a souvenir of her trip!
Oh, nice to see her pictures, but I'm sure you want to take the trip now, too! It would be nice to take a trip to Europe!
I'd keep a copy of those pics! LOL But then, I LOVE to look at other people's pics. I have the travel bug big time.......I was talking to my doctor on Monday and he mentioned he and his family had just gone to Amsterdamm over spring break. I told DH about it and he says *Oh, it's a beautiful place, I went when I was in college. We definitely need to plan a trip there.* I was thinking............OH??? and what cloud is going to begin raining money to pay for this trip? He has already booked 2 cruises for us that I'm wondering how he's going to pay for! LOL
Shhh, Karen, I DID upload some of the pics so I can enjoy them too! LOL I think of them as an incentive and reminder to save up the money to take a trip of my own...someday.
Well, honestly, since you were kind enough to loan her your camera, she probably wouldn't mind if you saved the pics too. I spent many years never going on vacation, and I finally decided the only way to start doing it, is to research and plan, and either save up for it, or pay something towards it each month. DH and I are boring - we don't do much during the year, at least not things that cost money. There are tons of free festivals in the New Orleans area, so we do a lot of that sort of thing. And then we splurge every year on a great vacation. At least, it's *great* for us. LOL We are going to visit my sister in CA in 3 weeks, and I plan to take LOTS of pics. And we are going to the southern Caribbean the end of November for 12 days - REALLY can't wait for that!
