Of course, mine is chocolate, but I like ice cream with nuts or chocolate chips, etc. Something to crunch on. My favourite brand is Edy's, as it's called here in the East. In other parts of the country, it is called Dreyers. Why the difference, I don't know.
I'll bet you all have some interesting regional flavours. Here in southern New England, we have coffee ice cream. It is very popular. When I lived in other states, no one had ever heard of it.

Do you know that here in my area (SW VA) you CANNOT purchase softserve chocolate ice cream ANYWHERE??? It drives me crazy! Not even DAIRY QUEEN has it! Their idea of a chocolate ice cream cone is vanilla dipped in that hard chocolate shell stuff! It's insane! And I only like chocolate cones!

My favorite ice cream is chocolate or mint chocolate chip. And it has to be the green kind with the chocolate pieces in it. Not the white with the chocolate chips. And yes, there's a difference! LOL!

I also love Blue Bell Peppermint candy ice cream, but that's only available around Christmas.

I love anything chocolate - love the chocolate brownie ice creams, and the vanilla with the caramel ribbons in it. YUM!

Breyers makes an ice cream called Vanilla Fudge Brownie and it is so good! It has become my favorite and I buy it whenever the store has it in stock whether it's on sale or not! LOL

Ben&Jerry's Chocolate Brownie or Phish Food and Dreyer's Somoa ice cream (chunks of the girl scout cookies in it!) I also really love Baskin Robbins' Gold Medal Ribbon.

The funny thing is...I don't like ice cream all that much. I might have it three or four times a year. Of course, it's my DH and DK's favorite dessert.

Graeter's Ice Cream...There are HUGE chunks of chocolate in that ice cream. i get it when i go to Cincinnati to visit my sister....they don't have Graeter's here.

Edy's is my favorite brand here. I love anything with chocolate but without nuts.
