OK her is my idea. I want to not do flowers and candles. I want something different. Getting different vases for each table clear vases and putting these dice in them. Enough in each vase for a person at each table to have 1. Then colored feathers on the top (like showgirl feathers) and chocolate poker chips in mesh bags as favors. Then those lights as table lights. What do you think? This could be done really cheap and still look really cute for a Vegas theme. And it would be different from other weddings. Tell me what you think.

I couldn't see the dice (got Mardi Gras beads instead), but the bags and the lights look very nice. A very different and interesting look, IMO.

They are mardigras beads but they are dice beads I thought they would be different to put in the vases and them the guests can have them through out the night. I would have to get a ton of dice and it would be expensive to fill 15-20 vases. This way I can save money and have tons of colored dice (beads) in the vases.

Another suggestion would be to order personalized dice with your names and date on it. You could just scatter those on the tables with the lights and chocolate chips. I don't think you have to have a "center" piece as long as the tables are decorated. I hope you go with green felt like fabric for table coverings...to help add to the whole vegas theme. You could very simply just stack up chips in the center and lay dice around and use the lights for cool effects.

I am not sure that I am nuts for the mardi gras beads either. Of course, I am not really good at visualizing and need to "see" it all put together to get it. LOL I like Kayes idea about just scattering some dice on the tables and I LOVE the green felt idea also. You could also scatter a few cards at each table along with the dice and the lights and the chips. Can you get the bags for the chips in red and black? I think that would be sharp!!

I could only get the lights to open for me. And I love them with just the flowers alone. Although I didn't see the necklaces but if the other ladies say they look Mardi Gras then I would say no too. I read someone mention that they have machine slots tokens . Something like that would be nice, in your gift bags, if you wanted a edible favor, you could always buy gold coins(oriental trading post or other party favor stores) , you can get cholotale, gum, white chocolate and other flavors. and put them in the gift bags have it look like a bag of coins that they won or to try there luck with.

Or other sentimental sayings. And just another idea you could order personalized ribbon with the two of your names on it and your special date, use to tie your message on to the bag.
