On bedrest
I've been having contractions nonstop. They aren't making me dilate or anything but they are a bit on the painful side. I spent my morning in L&D being monitored so as of now i'm on bedrest and have to go back tomorrow for more monitoring. I'm off to nap so i'm well rested just in case but I just thought i'd let you gals know. I'll keep you updated.
Keeping you in my prayers. How far along are you? Sarah was born at 36 weeks and a day, but I didn't think you were quite that far yet.
Oh, wow. Could this be the result of the "massage" you had? Maybe your little one is just getting anxious to meet everyone. Good luck!
I know that she is due in June. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Melissa. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
Thoughts and prayers for you to hang on a while longer. I know the longer the better! Keep us updated!!
Nathan is anxious and ready to meet everyone. But hopefully he'll hang on a little while longer. Good luck.

{{Melissa}} Take it easy and I will keep you in my prayers.
Thanks for the thoughts! My contractions have let up a bit but when I went back to L&D this morning to be monitored they said I was 1cm dilated and 75% effaced. I'm back on bedrest until the 16th. After that he can come anytime as i'll be a few days shy of 36 weeks and they won't stop labor. So i'm off to continue my lovely bedrest while I sit and think of the millions of things that could be getting done instead. DH is off the rest of the week to help me with Kaitlyn so maybe I can get him to do a few things.
((HUG)) Hang in there, Melissa and enjoy the time to have a little help. Maybe you can get some rest before Nathan arrives.
Sorry to hear that, but I know how you feel! I was on bedrest with both of my pregnancies - with Jeff it was for nearly 3 months. Don't stress about what is not getting done - the most important thing right now is for you to have a healthy baby. And look at it this way - once he comes, you aren't going to have this luxury of doing *nothing*. LOL Read some books, enjoy some quality cuddle time with Kaitlyn and take care of you!
Oh, gosh. That does not sound like fun. Hang in there! (((Hugs)))
Hang in there!
(((Melissa)))
{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}} Take advantage of this and rest all you can.
Hang in there Melissa. {{{HUGS}}}
Milk it for all it's worth girl! I'd have him scrub all the toilets and then some. ROFL ((((HUGS)))) Enjoy getting some rest before baby Nathan arrives.
Many happy thoughts coming your way! Just keep yourself as relaxed a possible! The more rested and less stressed you are the better! I will be thinking of you and the baby!
LOL, Conni But very true. You will be busy when Nathan comes so enjoy alittle R&R now.
You said it, Conni! LOL Enjoy for now. Stay as relaxed as you can.
How are you doing Melissa? Enjoying your bedrest?
I hate bedrest. I'm not the type to lay around all day. The nice things is that I have my friends popping in to give me company but...... I feel like i'm wasting time. I know this is to help the baby and all but going from an active lifestyle to lounging around all day can only last for so long! Only 8 more days.......
Too much bedrest is hard. Even 2 days of just laying around, when I don't feel good is too much! One can only watch so much tv, before your brain turns to mush.
(((hugs))) Are they going to let you deliver in 8 days? Or are you off bedrest in 8 days? How exciting! You are getting close
I'm off bedrest in 8 days and if he decides to come after that they won't stop anything. They're actually encouraging me to try and get him out after that. I have NO problem with that, lol.
