A really nice day so far
The washer repairman came an hour earlier than they said, so my ds could deal with him and still catch his plane; the repair was only $108, and he said my 10 year old washer should be good for another 10 years. I came in an hour early so I could drive ds to the train for the airport, which gives me mommy points, and got more mommy points when I said "do you have your meds", and he said "OOOPS - thanks for reminding me". All three of my lawyers are out all day and were out all day yesterday, so I am about 98% caught up on everything, and they'll probably be out tomorrow. And I was able to completely finish a major project I've been working on, off and on, for about 3 months. And there's enough left over of last night's fried chicken for tonight's dinner, plus two new books. It's being a really nice day.
These nice days really make up for the not so nice days.Enjoy the rest of you're day!!!
I want a day like that please!!! I have now gone a few months without a day like that. I feel like I am having a breakdown/panic attack right now as I type. Enjoy you days with no bosses we need those every once in a while.
Way to count your blessings, Ginny. I've had a couple of nice, quiet days today and yesterday. Granted, I've had kids here and been working, but after the hecticness of this past weekend I'll take it! lol I guess "quiet" is relevant. *g* Enjoy the rest of your day.
Wow, what a great day, Ginny!
I love those days! So glad you're having a good one.
