The last snow was so heavy that it broke some of the branches off of our trees that border our property. I do not know what they are called, but, they are tall and thin and I think in the pine family. When we cut away the branches that broke, there were ugly bare spots where no greenery was growing. Also, this year I've noticed our grass is over-growing in some spots and not growing in other spots. It is so ugly. Our front yard is no better. The boxwoods are starting to look shabby, and it generally looks like our home is unkempt which embarrases me. I've got to get outside! Just thought you all might want to know. LOL

I hate how my yard looks when the snow first melts. Now, the lawn is green and it looks so much better.

Our backyard is starting to look better.My DH put some grass seed down,so its starting to fill in.We also have patches from the dog,so I don't think it will ever be really nice.My trees out front need to be trimmed also.Never enough hours in the day right now.LOL
