DH is coming home this weekend for 4 days!! He's been at Ft. Bragg, NC since late January, so he'll drive up for 4 days and then we'll all drive down for the next week before we send him off to Qalat Afganistan. He'll be at 9,000-12,000 ft above sea level. YIKES!
He'll definitely be gone for a year, with a 2 week R&R around November.
I'm SO excited to see him!! He'll even get to go to school with Connor this Saturday.

Have a great visit! Any plans for his R&R? I would suggest you travel near him so his time is not wasted in travel.

For the first 12 years of my marriage, dh went to war and was away on deployments. It will be hard on you but at least these days you have access to the internet and better phone service. Imagine only having contact through regular mail!?
