Haven't "seen" anyone around lately. Just wanted to check in with you.

In our household, we are getting ready for school. I almost have all the school supplies for both kiddos. We went out and bought new shoes and backpacks for them.

Of course, we had to deal with Mr. Grumpy at the shoe store. My little one didn't want us to buy him shoes with laces. He still wants the ones with velcro. We had to explain that this year he will have to learn to tie his shoes. After he learns how to do it, and after December, when they are tested, he can go back to velcro shoes. I figure he'll have grown out of these shoes by then anyway. Goodness, how fast they grow.
