Been thinking about you. Hope all is well.
Thanks, Sorry been busy with a local project - tunnel vision. How are you. Is school out in CA. We're in free fall toward summer but I still have school to finish. What are you're summer plans. You always have great ideas. Any gardening on the horizon. I bought the topsey turvy tomato hangers but haven't put them up yet. Linda
Hi, Linda! No, school isn't out yet for my kiddos. They get out the 16th. It's getting crazy with all the activities, though. A topsey turvey? Cool! Let me know how that works out for you. I've been thinking about getting one but I wasn't sure. I tried to get some seeds going last month. Some herbs for that herb garden I'll have someday and some pretty, drought tolerant flowers. Everything was going well until we went away for the weekend. Now we'll have to start all over. That's ok, though. I'll turn it into a science lesson. Plans? Clean house (ha, ha), library activities, stuff like that. The boys want me to homeschool so I have to plan that out. I call it summer school, though because as soon as school starts up they're going! lol What about you? Any summer camps or anything like that?
Like the idea of an unstructured summer but need planning to get my husband and the rest of the family in the picture. The boy scouts camp for a week - not sure we're old enough to do this yet. Also love VBS. We've been speaking about returning to a family campground that we used to visit every year. Also for the first time my youngest son has been actively planning out loud about seeing his cousins throughout the summer. He said the other day - "I have the coolest cousins". So family visiting is a priority. Don't want something going on all the time but I definitely want to take advantage of summer activities - just need to be selective - also have to keep an eye on the cash flow. Know you understand.
Linda, were you perhaps interested in taking your kiddos to the movies? I know that during the summer, a couple of the movie theater companies have either free viewings or $1 viewings. They should be announcing them soon. Maybe there's one in your area?
