Friday night - sleepover night - once again - the youngest DD has a noon dismissal today - bringing her friend home on the bus. The older DD's get done at 3 & bringing their friends then. We will go to Family ice skating from 6 - 7pm then to Pizza Hut for dinner then back home to watch a movie. DD's friends will go home Sat morning then DH & I are "supposed" to go to the Winter Carnival celebration at his workplace - but the weather may have a say in that. Sunday will just be my normal lazy PJ day with Breakfast for dinner..... That's about it!

Ice skating, how fun!

We don't have anything planned. Ds has track practice after school, and dh has a long work day followed by an office dinner. I will not be attending with him, which is fine by me. I'd rather stay home and maybe play a board game with the boys. They showed me how to play "Sorry". I lost. Now it's rematch time! Sunday will be church and we'll see what else.

John Constantine has Tanglewood Science preserve with Boy Scouts.

He has Pinewood Derby race for South Nassau! I am so excited. I want him to Win Win Win!!!!!

I am such a Soccor Mom!

He has developed so much happiness and self confidence since he won number one for East Rockaway Cub scouts.

You should see his smiling face now. He used to look depressed since the kids don't get his personality. Science and math kid that he is. The kids were so mean to him. Now I beat everyone is attracted to him since he is so upbeat an happy!

FINALLY! On my way to PA to visit a friend that I haven't seen in 23 years! Talk about Anticipation & Excitement! My girls are all taken care of and my DH has to accept it wether he likes it or not. I NEED this time away for myself.

Jami has a softball game. Jaydi is supposed to spend the night with a girlfriend. I will be coloring Easter Eggs & getting carrots for the Easter Bunny. Maybe a trip to Red Lobster with DH....can't turn that down! LOL The Trampoline will be put to good use. The Easter brunch & easter egg hunt should be a hit as usual.

I'm visiting my friend once again out of state & My oldest DD leaves for Florida tomorrow with a girlfriend & her family. One week in Pensacola then the next at Disney. My Separated DH leaves for Myrtle Beach SC with my 2 younger DD's early tomorrow morning. I will be back home late Monday night then I will have the house to myself for a few days - that has NEVER happened! What to do - what to do!!??

My girls are home!!!! YAY! Only the 2 youngest - but thats better than nothing. I really thought the idea of a quiet house would be a little piece of heaven....til all 3 of my daughters went away on vacation - leaving me home to this empty house - Great Lesson - I missed them to death!!!!!

Yes. My girlfriend fell into a terrible depression when she seperated for real. Three kids and she can't kick the depression. The kids go half the time to daddy and she doesn't know what to do with herself. She feels lose without the kids.

She feels overwhelmed when she has the kids by herself when she has them. She says they push her buttons.

Too newly divorced, I can totally feel for what she is going through. I tell you life should come with an instruction manual and our husbands should read it! Just kidding. I would read it too. But would I follow it?

tHIS IS rEGATTA WEEKEND IN MY TOWN - IT'S A HUGE CANOE RACE WHERE BASICALLY A BUNCH OF DRUNK PEOPLE (USUALLY 5,000) GET INTO THEIR BOATS AND HEAD DOWN THE CREEK. THERE ARE PIT STOPS WHERE THEY STOP AND DRINK AND USUALLY BY THE 3RD ONE THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE DRUNK. iTS NO A FUN WEEKEND IF YOU DONT PARTICIPATE & IM ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT OUR PROPERTY & CHILDREN....BUT IT SHOULD AT LEAST BE A DECENT WEEKEND WEATHER WISE.

We have a surprise 40th birthday party for a friend Friday night. It will be my 1st event "flying solo" without my husband. And 1st time together with all my friends without him - so Im sure there will be plenty of questions. Anyone got any suggestions on how NOT to feel like the 3rd wheel and how to explain without having to give details?

Track meet early tomorrow morning. Ds qualified for this one which is an invitational. He will be doing long jump for his division.

Also, I get to work the Snack booth from the afternoon to the evening at their school for a school event. DH will be entertaining company while I work. The guys are coming over to watch the Laker game.

There is a new restaurant by on the boardwalk in Long Beach. or a the restaurant five minutes from out house on the bay that is fine.

Track meet. This time it's not far from the house nor will it be excrutiating to wait. It'll be at ds's school. Still don't know his events, though. Coach will tell him that morning.

Afterwards, DH is whisking me off to someplace. I don't know where. I've been able to guess it's within the state and within a three hour drive. He won't say more.

Yesterday, our family celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. The four of us went out for dinner. It was very nice.
