Thanks goodness the first few weeks is over for the camp.

I signed John up for science camp that I suspect was too simple for him. Anyway now we are on to two weeks of tennis camp.

I hear the verdict is that tennis camp is fun. I tell you I was in the dog house for picking science for him. LOL

Trials and tribulations of camp. I tell you.

He did a few days of sports camp too at a local sports facility but I think that was 7 hours of too much activity.

Love Word of Life camps - they have camps in over 40 countries and actually send their staff to camp college. We're off to the Word of Life Ranch Day Camp this AM - my little guy and his friend from cub scouts.

They really do have it all for the active boy (first of all tons of other boys and energetic, trained, young, smiling enthusiastic staff to keep up with them -Yahoo!!!! - forts, bonfires, singing, lake swimming and water slide, horses, rodeos, hikes, endless competitions, games and sports) but they also work on a little kid's version of spiritual life which I really want. Hopefully neither of us burns out - we started almost 15 years ago with our older ones - I'm not as young and energetic!!
