Christmas isn't the same without my Dad but I am trying to get into the holiday spirit. Shopping is started I am always last minute!
My DD Alissa is all excited about Christmas, my two older DS'S haven't a clue what they want.

I'm glad you are doing ok.

I know what you mean about Christmas not being the same, my mom has been gone 2 years this month. It is hard to get into the holiday spirit, it will get better - it's slowly getting better for me.

Kathy, Can I ask when your dad passed away? I only ask because this is a hard year at our house as well. My dad passed away in September after a long time of not "huge" illnesses but they steamrolled very quickly and two weeks after being admitted to the hospital it was over.
