Santa Letters...HELP!
Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Santa Letters...HELP!
Does anyone get santa letters for their child(ren)? I buy one for Rylee every year, and am always looking for new ones. I have found a few online, but nothing has really hit me yet. If you do this, where do you get yours from? I need to get this done this week!!! TIA
Our local recreation and fire departments call our kids on the phone. You fill out several items (age, teacher, pets, siblings, things they did great, things needing improvement, and what they want) Then Santa calls your house, ask for the child and will fit all of the above info into their conversation. It is wonderful.
That is so cool Dana!!! I don't think they do that around here. Where did you find out about this?
We also had Santa call my kids on the phone. It was so cute. Now they are in the "in between stage" where they KNOW that Santa does not really exist but are just not ready to let the Santa magic go yet. Which is fine with me. Last year my sister asked me to be Santa for her kids. I sent them a letter "from Santa" asking them if they were good this year, what they wanted, etc. I guess it was a hit. I think I even got some cute Santa type paper to print it on. Then I colored the envelope red and white, like a candy cane. I had lots of fun with it!
Call your local parks and rec and see if your area has this. I saw it the first time at our local library, but each year, it is the parks and rec teaming up with the firedepartment. Can you imagine the happiness these men must get talking to the kids on line? I'm sure they can hear the belief over the phone when the child first realized Santa just called! ANd imagine if Santa gets a real talker on the other end. Those have got to be the best.
I'll do that! Thanks Dana!!!!
