TRINA - latest recommendations on car seats
Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: TRINA - latest recommendations on car seats
I confess I haven't read other recent posts on car seats, but I have a co-worker expecting in April and I told her I'd get the latest info on what is safest. She does want a "transfer" seat that she can take the seat part in and out of the car, leaving the anchor parts or base connected in the car, if there are safe ones.
That would be an infant carrier car seat. Recommended seats here: CarSeatSite.com Personally, I'd go for a Graco Infant SafeSeat. It goes up to 30 lbs. and 32". (Most only go up to 20-22 lbs.) Safe, user friendly and with nice convenience features.
Thanks, Trina. The first thing I do when I learn a friend is pregnant is send them the information you post on car seats and the CSP link for making sure carseats are properly installed.
