I used to have a Swiffer Vac for my kitchen. It worked pretty well. I always kept it plugged in, except for when I used it. Although I was always charging it, the battery life was awful. It would only work for about 2 minutes while I vacuumed the kitchen, and then it would start dying on me. Finally one day it just completely died.

I'd like to get another bare floor vacuum for the kitchen but don't want to spend more than $30-$40 on it. And don't really want to get another Swiffer Vac.

Any suggestions? Does anybody have one that is really great?

I know I could use an old fashioned broom, but I did love quickly sweeping up my floor.

I have a bissel flip ease, it works well. I am not sure what the cost was, I bought it a year ago.
