Christmas Games

We do a tacky gift exchange. We've also done the story where there are little gifts wrapped up and they get passed around to a story -- when the person reading the story says left the gifts go left, if they say right, the gifts go right. Once the story is done then you get to open and keep the gift you have in your hand. Are there any other fun games that you play or have played? For kids also.

Let's Make a Deal Purse Dig. Borrowing from the old Let's Make a Deal game show, this Christmas gift exchange game is appropriate for a group of female participants. Have each woman who brought a Christmas gift for the exchange grab her purse. Then call out items one by one that might be found in a typical purse. The first person to present that item from her purse gets to choose the first Christmas gift. You can either choose the gifts wrapped or unwrapped. Items you may wish to call out include fingernail clippers, a receipt, a dime, a glasses case, mints, gum, hand sanitizer, or a coupon.
Bobbie - our tacky gift exchange is very similar to the White Elephant game. The purse game sounds neat. I would like to have a fun Christmas game that adults and kids can play. Thanks for the ideas so far Bobbie.
