Neighbour Gifts

Do you get your neighbour's/close friends gifts? If so, what do you give?
I bake cookies and take a plate to each close neighbor. The guy next door is a single guy so he always seem to appreciate some homebaked goodies...
I also do baked goods. I get really cute christmas plates, and put them on those. I usually make fudge, christmas cookies, and chocolate chip cookies.
Years ago, I used to bake, and bring the ones I was close to a plate or box or something wrapped with home baked goodies also. One of my neighbors used to get tiny little mini-stockings and put candy, etc. in them for all of us. One year she made a small ceramic thing for us all too. My vote is for baked goods.
I have done a chex mix type thing. Trying to think what all was in it, but I think a couple of different chex, some pretzles and some peanuts, then I drizzle it with melted chocolate. I put it in those festive ziplock reusable containers and pass it around.
Baked goods are good. Last year, or the year before, our next-door neighbor, who is single, hand-shoveled our sidewalk and driveway, by himself. We made him cookies! Something like that, just couldn't go unnoticed. I don't really routinely make everyone presents, though. They don't give me anything, either.
My neighbor/friend and I usually get together with the kids and share home baked goodies. That's about it. I do give to my mailman though, just some chocolates or cookies. He's a really nice guy. I've never had a mailman introduce himself to me and remember our names before like he does.
Just something small and cute. Last year we did a large wire whisk and filled it with candy kisses then wrapped in celaphane. We wrote "We whisk you a merry kissmas" on a cute little card.
I bake cookies for close neighbors and friends and package them in nice boxes. We exchange presents with the neighbors that we spend lots of time with.
