Cricut Expression

Has anyone every used one or have one? I'm going to be getting one - they are on Rollback pricing at WalMart. This will be my Christmas present from DH and the kids. I'm very excited.
I don't have the cricut, but I've used one and it's really neat. I have a Cuttlebug, which is a lot different. I'm sure you will love it!! I debated on getting it last year for Xmas, but decided not to. My issues with it (after using a friend's a few times) - 1)too many extras needed (the toolkit, replacing cutting pads regularly-if you scrap like I do!), cartridges aren't budget friendly for me, and sometimes it simply doesn't do what you program it to do. All in all, I think it's a great machine. I re-considered getting one this year after seeing the Rollback prices at Walmart, too. I think I'll wait another year. I primarily want it for the alphabets, and you can't use the 40 and 50% coupons at the craft stores on the cartridges. Once I realized that, I took it off my Xmas list. My budget doesn't allow for it unless I can use those coupons, LOL! If I thought I could get the cartridges anytime I wanted one, I would get a Cricut, too. It's a really cool machine and you can make tons of cool stuff with it. Have so much fun!!! Be sure to get on the Provo Craft Expressions (I think it's called) website and sign up for their email sales. You can get great exclusive deals on cartridges, etc. from that site.
I have one and I love it. The cartriges are on the pricey side but you can do so much with them. I also like that I can make my own stencils, or I can use it with the markers and write with it. You can cut words and shapes out of contact paper or shelving paper and stick it to the walls for decoration.
I got a Cricut machine a few years ago. My SIL and I split the cost since we scrapbook together....or at least we are Supposed to scrapbook together. It doesn't usually work out that way though. I dont' have any cartridges other than the one it came with because of the cost. Deanna, my sister has the machine to. She got it off ebay and split the cost with a scrap-booking friend. She also found a Disney cartridge on Ebay for $30!! So if you do get one, look on Ebay for cartridges. Missy, I love the Cricut Machine. It;s so cool. I even used it when making Teacher Appreciation cards last year. The one teacher could not figure out how I did what I did! LOL
I don't have one and I don't really need one, but I was behind a scrapbooking person in line, at Hobby Lobby once, and she really wanted one, but the $400 pricetag was a bit too high for her. I want a new computer more! LOL!
I picked up my Cricut Expression today -- unfortunately I am not allowed to use it yet. It's my Christmas present. I'm so excited that I got it. Last week Walmart had a nice size display of these, today after I picked up mine, there were 4 left. I can't wait to try it out.
