Everyday since Oct 24th I have been calling the phone number for Jury duty, and checking online.On their website you can check as well. This was my last week which would end on Friday. I just put in my number, and it said I am scheduled to appear on Wednesday at 8:30...It did state to call the night before to verify reporting status. Now I am in panic mode, trying to make sure kids are taken care of and all that jazz. I am excited and nervous in the same breath.

I know that I am not normal when it comes to this, but you are so lucky!!!
When I got the paperwork in the mail years ago my DH thought we had won the lottery because I was happy.

Emily - I was/am the same way, LOL!! Normally people aren't thrilled, but I was so excited. I wanted to get picked so bad (and I did). Of course at that time I didn't have a child and worked full-time, so it wasn't a big deal with making arrangements.

Well the thing is I am sort of excited. It is just when I think about what it entails on my end, finding childcare for Faith. She will go to preschool that day., and I can extend her time there for $3.75 an hour. My husband works two jobs that day, so he would have to pick her up between jobs and bring her home at 2:30 when my 14 yr old son gets home from school to watch her.
Plus on Wed is my others daughters first day of the new season of her swim clinic..that is at 3:45 so she will have to miss that one. I know no big deal, but all the details are running through my mind.
I know it will all work out in the end. I am just a planner, I just like all my ducks in a row before doing something new.
