American Girl babies

Does anyone have one of these? Not the big girl dolls, but the infants. Natalie's babies are pretty worn and we're thinking of getting a new one for Christmas. We get the AG catalogs all the time and the babies seem precious. Are they pretty realistic? Are they well made? TIA
My daughter has a bity baby and she loved it. Honestly only until about a year ago or so did she quit sleeping with it She is 14. I think it has held up very well and it worth the money.
Bella got one for being a flower girl when she was 2. She still has it, and she is now 9. It's adorable, she loves it. She doesn't really play with dolls at all anymore but when she got the AG catalog and looked through it, the next thing I knew she had that doll out again and was carrying it around with her and asking for stuff for her. I think they are pretty well made. AND the cute thing is that if something happens to the doll you can send it to American Girl and they put the doll in the "doll hospital" and fix it up and send it back. I have no idea how much that would cost though. LOL
Thanks ladies! (What a cute flower girl gift that was!)
For the babies, they completely replace the head, so it does run quite a bit (i want to say 30-40 dollars). Our baby ended up losing the color in one eye after sitting unplayed with for a year. Strange, but oh well...we talked about sending it off, but we never did.
Doll hospitals can be ridiculus. Jessica's "My Twinn" cost $100 in the hospital to repair her wig. I think the American dolls are wonderful.
Emily would like a new head, for her Molly doll. She is older now, so it probably would be worth the money, since the doll would be taken care of, much better now. The hair is all tangled.
