We might be getting....

A PUPPY!! We're going tomorrow to take a look at him. He's 8 and 1/2 weeks. Here is the link to his picture http://www.spca.bc.ca/sunshinecoast/Dog-PupsAussie1008.htm I don't know how to make it clickable... We've been looking for one for months and months and we think this is him. My dh is going to train him and we've already agreed to crate train him. We haven't told the little ones yet so it will be a huge surprise. We think this is a good time with them being older. The youngest one is 9.
Which one, Comet or Ranger? They are both adorable. I hope he fits in wonderfully with your family and you share tons of love together. What will you rename him?
Aussie Pups Awwwww, they're both cute! Which one?
Awww..... cute! I love Aussie's. I'm kinda partial to Comet, he reminds me of an old friends dog. They are so smart.
very sweet ! I love the names too. Have fun with him/her!
I had an Australian sheperd for 15 years. Great breed. Very easy to train and so very loyal. Cute pics! The puppies look like a mix. Cute
Comet is the one I love too from the pictures. We have to take a ferry to where he is. We have looked closer to home but mostly we've found pitbulls and rottweilers. Some of them were sweet but we didn't feel they were a good fit. It's been heartbreaking having to leave all the dogs there. If I could I would adopt them all. We haven't talked about what we would rename him yet if we get him. I'm so excited and looking forward to this but trying to keep level headed too in case we don't get him (he might not be at the shelter anymore but I think they would have taken his picture down if he wasn't). I wish I were on the ferry already!
I think Comet is my favorite, too. Good luck!
Thank you!! We're leaving in about 10 minutes.
Good luck!!!!!
http://www.spca.bc.ca/sunshinecoast/Dog-PupsPaws1008.htm again I can't make it clickable but this is the puppy we fell in love with and adopted. As you can see they called her tina but we've decided to name her Tess. We brought her home in our truck on a two hour drive and while they said she was nervous in vehicles we had her crate we got her and she slept almost the whole time! No whining or anything. So far she's wonderful. She's doing really well peeing and stuff on paper but it's still going to take a while to perfect and she's fairly good on a lease already but she's not completely used to it. We took her to my bil's house and I sat down to read a book and she climbed up and laid down with me right away and went to sleep awwwwwwwwww the little one has stolen my heart already We're going to put her crate in our room for at night (the kids can't fight over who she'll sleep with then) and during the day on our main level where there isn't any carpeting for while we're not home at least until she's completely trained. They gave us some food and a leash and tomorrow we're going shopping for some dishes and toys for her...time to puppy proof the house she chews on everything! She even managed to get a tack out of a poster on the wall at the shelter the little mischief maker
Yay! ^_^ Too cute! Be sure to talk to your vet about parasite control and vaccines. I don't know what the laws are in Canada, but I can provide you with the AVMA recommendations.
The SPCA gave us a free vet check form for her. I'm going to take her to them and get them to look her over. They did give her some shots which I have a record of but I want to see what else they recommend. I would love the recommendations you can give me Do you still have my email address? It's been a long time since we talked!
Well if you get a chance email me at butterfly 774 at gmail . com no spaces of course.
TINA She is a cutie.. They already moved her to adopted on the website, very good.
Awww!! Congrats!
Soooo cute!
