Whats for Dinner?
I finally work days all week and off on the weekends...first in 11 years! I love having Sunday Dinner for the family. Today we are having Cheesy Meatloaf , potatoes, Italian beans and tossed salad. Whats everyone else having? Maybe I can get some cooking ideas. I am sick of the same old things!
I made a really good chicken cordon bleu last week so i'm thinking of making that for dinner tonight. We'll see what happens though.
I have two fillet steaks marinating in a bit of Worcester sauce and oil. We'll grill them tonight with baked potatoes and salad. I need to make some Bearnaise Sauce. We used up the last of it the last time we grilled steaks. It takes a while for the wine and wine vinegar to reduce. As soon as I wash the marinating dish, I'll put in some Tilapia, a little white wine and Vidalia Onion dressing. That will be for tomorrow night, with noodles tossed with crumbled Swiss Cheese and Broccoli.
We are having steamed carrot, potatoes, onion, cabbage and susage.MMMM DSH loves this..DSK will get some of the stuff but NOT all. They are OLD enough to fend if they dont eat what we cook!
Homemade chicken soup with some great Polish noodles my sister found for me from NY. We used to call them kluski noodles when I was a kid. Rough egg noodles....yummmmy. Side of crusty french bread to soak up the broth. I even made tacos for lunch.
I want to go to Bea's house tomorrow night!
we made meatball subs...yum!
pork chops grilled mashed potatoes green beans apple sauce rolls
Sundays are usually 'sandwich' night around here, LOL! Tonight I'm trying a new recipe - taco chicken.
Homemade chili with pumpkin muffins. The kids made it for supper, on Saturday, when Gary and I went out for our anniversary. (Although, I think Sarah forgot to put in the chili powder!)
