I just had to call the police because as I am about to leave my house, I noticed that my DVD player in my car was stolen last night!!! Dummy me, forgot to lock the car lastnight, so they had easy access. The cop said it wouldn't have mattered because I would most likely have glass everywhere if they weren't unlocked. He had just come from 2 streets away in my neighborhood with 2 other car breakins. I feel so violated!!! They also took the movie that was in it, but left The Wizard Of Oz and all of my CD's. The headphones for the DVD player were still there too. I am so upset and angry with myself. I feel so bad for DD, but she is taking it fine. She says that we can just buy a new one, like it's nothing. Why do people have to be so mean!!!!!

We just now got everything with our bank account straightened out from when our trunk was broken into and my purse stolen in Chattanooga over Labor Day weekend! It really does suck. We've learned a lesson though. I will never leave my purse locked in my trunk, or anything else valuable!

Consider yourself lucky...I couldn't even get the police to come to us when our car was broken into and my purse stolen. And our debit card had already been used. They just took a police report over the phone and didn't even try to get prints or anything. Sheesh!
