Supper on Friday
I'm going to make stuffed peppers. Gary got some homegrown bell peppers, in assorted colors the other day. The best way to use up 6 of them, is Stuffed Peppers. Since tomorrow is going to be a crazy day (and as if today wasn't either,) I made the stuffing tonight, with the ground beef, tomato sauce, onions, and rice, tonight. Tomorrow, all we have to do is clean out the peppers, stuff them and bake them. Today: Work at school Work at the clinic Go to Parent-Teacher conferences. Emily is getting all A's and is an excellent student. In the main display case, by the auditorium, her op-art is one of those on display. It's a drawing of a horse, too, and I picked it out right away. Also, the art teachers had a display of 3-D objects and hers was one of those displayed, too. Eat supper at Arby's Go to our weekly knit night Take butter and eggs out of the fridge Go to grocery store for some dessert things and some stuffed pepper things Come home, bake cake for cake walk that is part of church spaghetti dinner Make stuffed pepper "stuffing!" Now, I get to sleep and go to work in the morning. Tomorrow: Work at clinic Work at school. Take Sarah to haircut Possibly take her to register to vote and fill out absentee ballot, as she will be too busy on the real election day. (Tuesday class schedule is very full.) Frost cake and deliver to church Finish stuffed peppers, bake and eat. Make salad of spinach, mandarin oranges, and raspberries, too. Go to homecoming football game. Saturday: Visit apple orchard, observation tower for pictures and fall leaves viewing and go to pumpkin farm Eat lunch somewhere Go to spaghetti dinner at church. Also, tomorrow sometime, need to bake some kind of bar for spaghetti dinner, too. ON Sunday, church and taking Sarah back to Oshkosh. I'm hoping there will be time in the afternoon to make some butternut squash soup. Calgon take me away!
Is it too late for her to register? or are you just going to absentee her? Here in texas you have up until 30 days to register, i thought that was national! Busy days for you...i always thought that as my kids got older we wouldn't have such a crazy schedule!
I seen a recipe on the food channel where you cut the peppers in rings and stuff them and fry then put in the oven they were meatloaf rings looked nice I am gonna try them. I f you get a chance check it up on the food channel.
We can register on the day of the election, in WI. Jjandmom, that sounds interesting.
Wow Dawn, that exhausted me. Although Wed. was not much better for me. This was my wednesday Work at school come home and iron 4 shirts and two pairs of pants for hubby which took forever! go back to school, pick up kids...ended up staying for an after school ptc meeting drop kids off at church for PSR come home, make meatballs pick kids up put together meatball subs and eat them take Bella to dance while dh goes to church for first communion meeting pick bella up from dance help kids with homework get them in bed it was a lot of back and forth!
That sounds exhausting, too, Patty! Even after all that, it still took a bit to fall asleep last night.
Supper was delicious! The homecoming football game, not so much. They were losing 42-7, when we left. The other high school in town, also losing with 28-7! We left after the 3rd quarter. No point in beating a dead horse. The highlight of the game was the halftime show, by the band, which was excellent, and the little doughnut treats and the popcorn we ate! LOL! Sarah registered to vote and filled out her absentee ballot. She's all set now.
