A week from last Saturday, my 11 yr old dgs Nik and his 7 yr old brother, Mason,asked Jesus to come in to their life and they were saved !!! I have been spending a lot of time teaching them things from the bible,and they have been going to church with DH and I .We had a street event up town that had a lot of games and fun things for kids and grown-ups to do.It was "On The Go Ministry" with Keith Cook , and was sponsored by 60 local churches.At one point, they shut down the activities and evangelist Cook preached for a short while.Very interesting and to the point.He asked if anyone wanted to ask Jesus into their heart and get saved to raise their hand, and both boys did.Actually, there was MANY people that raised their hands! He lead them thru the sinners prayer. After we got home, I talked at length with the boys to make sure that they understood what had happened. And I feel very confident that they do.They got out their bibles and we read them for an hour or more. At one point, Nik said " Nanny, I am full of joy right now !" I have never heard him use words like that Mason said he told EVERYBODY at school that he got saved !!
