Weekend Plans?
What are you up to this weekend? Anything interesting? I think tomorrow night is going to be a lazy night. I have to wake up at 430 Saturday morning for a garage sale with my neighbors. All the money made will go into our Christmas fund. Saturday- Garage sale. DH's is taking Kaitlyn to her soccer game. DH has plans for us Saturday night to celebrate our Anniversary. Sunday- 7 year anniversary. We are going to the Miramar Air Show to see the infamous Blue Angels among many other planes that will be there. Nathan will looove it!
Saturday Robin and I are flying to Michigan and then driving back with my mom next Tuesday and Wednesday (I hope!). Should be interesting! lol
We might meet friends for dinner tomorrow night and I know Sunday night we are going to a party at one of dh's friends, not sure about the rest of the weekend.
I'm hoping to do several photo shoots this weekend. Hubby and I are going to Guatemala on a service trip, and need to raise some money for donations to the orphanages. I figured a photo fundrasier would be a fun way to do it. If I'm not busy Sunday am, the girls and I will be doing a breast cancer walk with my mom and sister.
Saturday we are taking the kids to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. After that we are going to the pumpkin patch and then we'll decorate our porch for fall.
Friday night - homework with the kids and an eye doctor appt for DS Saturday - pitching lessons with DD, JFL game with DS, homework, Sunday - going on Spoon River Drive with a friend and the kids
Mrs B, the Blue Angels fly by my house each morning @ 8:30. I see their show everyday. They are amazing. Dh should have the kids this weekend but the girls want to go to birthday party sleepovers on Sat; so I have no idea what is going on this weekend until dh talks to the girls. I would like to go to the beach and see the movie with Richard Gere/Diane Lane.
Annie - when we go to Destin over Spring Break, the Angels fly over our condo every morning. They are amazing.
Annie, wow! What a neat place to live! We saw the Blue Angels this summer at the Cleveland AIr Show. My dh, kids and I LOVE THEM! They are so cool. Friday night: probably rent a movie or have a family game night Saturday: If we remember, i'll take the kids to the Kids Workshop at the Home Depot (they have it the first Sat. of every month) they love making stuff there. Sat. afternoon maybe decorate the house for Halloween plus we may go to the Homerama to see the big expensive houses. Sat. night I may let my dd have a friend sleep over (their first sleepover!....they tried it last year but the girl got homesick and her dad picked her up at 11 pm ) Sunday: church and who knows what else!
My parents will be in town, so that will be fun. My youngest is playing in a state baseball tournaments. Friday night he has practice. Dh coaches, so they will be doing that. Then he plays both Saturday and Sunday. It is suppose to be great weather though, low 80's and sunny. It is really exciting to watch ds's team play. Dh started coaching them 2 years ago when we moved here. They were a bunch of kids nobody wanted! When they first started, they maybe won 3-4 games all season. They have worked so hard the last few years, and now they are very competitive! Knowing where they came from, makes it so fun to watch them now!
Sarah's computer got messed up, so we went last week, to Oshkosh to pick up the tower and deliver the laptop. So, on Saturday, we will be going again, to deliver her tower and pick up the laptop. On Sunday, we are having a "Blessing of the Animals," after the Packer game. We are going to attempt to bring Jasmine. I'm sure she'll bark her fool head off, though. Some of the youth have been busy making frozen treats for the animals, so we can all have sundaes afterwards.
Friday night dh as a cub scouts workshop he is running for parents and dd has martial arts demo team practice. Saturday we were talking about going to the Greek Festival, but aren't sure we want to fight the crowds so plans are still up in the air. Sunday, no plans at all, which is highly unusual for us. We'll probably use Sunday to do a little yard work. Mrs. B, our anniversaries are really close! Our 15th is today. Happy 7th Anniversary to you and your dh!
Debbie - I love to watch teams like that. DD's softball team is one of those. They haven't made it to state yet but they did win regionals. The celebration after that was enough to make you think they won some state hardware.
not much of anything planned for us this weekend.
Friday...we might try a restaurant near here that we've heard good things about Saturday...Neighborhood clean-up at 8am for me, and probably working on the house that afternoon Sunday...Mow and yard work!!!! My favorite thing, especially with this cool air and leaves starting to fall, just a little.
The boys have football practice Friday night. On Saturday, dd has a soccer game and the boys have away football games. It's supposed to rain, so it should be a mud bowl! Fun! On Sunday, dh and I are taking the boys to the 49er-Pats game. Woo Hoo! Go Pats!
Well, DH doesn't have to work this weekend, so that's a real treat! Friday, ds has a half day for school so we will decorate their trick or treat bags. Saturday, we may go over to my in-laws because the boys miss their grandparents. If we do, then we'll be doing the Vigil Mass instead of going to church on Sunday. Sunday, coming home from in-laws and getting ready for another week.
mine is Friday-nothing and then work 5 to 11 sat and sun repeat ...
Tonight me didn't do anything. Just relaxed! Tomorrow- we are going to Tate Farms. It is this cute little farm with hayrides and pumpkins, and little train for the kids to ride, a petting zoo, etc. Sunday- we are having our pictures made, but other than that, no plans!
Dawn, my mom brought our beagle to the blessing of pets at our church this morning (ds had a football game). Boy did he do some howling! She said she had to stand way, way in the back and he got a special blessing by himself! What a crazy hound dog!
I'll keep you posted on how it goes tomorrow. (Blessing of animals.)
