Need a fast reply...Dinosaur World in KY
DD and I are heading to TN tomorrow to visit family, and we always pass Dinosaur World around Mammoth Cave in KY. We're thinking of stopping this time around, probably on the way back. I won't have internet access past tomorrow morning though. I've found their website, and it looks like a ni elittle stop. Has anyone been? I'm reading they also have them in Texas and Florida. It would be about $20 admission fee for Natalie and I. I wondered if you've been there, how long you spent there? Feasibly how much time did you *need* while you there? I'm trying to get an idea of how long of a "stop" it would be for us so we can plan around that. Sorry for the typos...doing this quickly! Thanks a lot if anyone has any info! This is a last minute thing.
I love caves, done several, maybe even mamomoth cave, but it would have been awhile. I would think 2 hours for a cave stop would be good. Does the website say how long the tour is?
It's not a cave - it's Dino World that's *near* Mammoth Cave. I'm thinking it couldn't be more than a couple of hours by the looks of teh website. Anyone know specifically? I've never done any caves, but that will be for another trip. i think caves would be cool.
Probably a couple of hours,I'm guessing. Too bad you couldn't have made your trip last Sat. The admission price was $1 for any age to get in. They had some kind of special going on.I'm planning a day trip with my DH and DGK's and a few more relatives , hopefully in the next couple of weeks, and this is one of the places we are going. They say that the Mammouth Cave is awesome. There is a place called Frontier Town ( I think) that is in the same area. It's really cute. It's one of the places that we are going to see on our day trip. What part of Tn are you going to ?
I have no idea about Dinosaur World, but it looks cheesy from the interstate. Kentucky Down Under is fun. And Mammoth Caves is really cool. The hard part about that is choosing the tour you want to go on. There is about a dozen and some you have to make reservations. But none of that is what you asked about.
It does look a little cheesy, but my 4 year old thinks those statues are cool. Still not sure if we're going or not. Wandilu - we go to KY Lake in TN. My grandmother lives on that lake. Thanks ladies.
