Thank you to all of ya'll !! It turned out to be a great day.DH sneeked in and surprised me with 5 marlar b-day balloons (55 balloons would be toooo expensive teehee He had 2 bottles of hot sauce and a box of Hot Tamales candy, because, he said I'm still HOT !! And an envelope with $45 in it to get a massage.Then that night ,we went to our local park and listened to Sons Of The Beach, a very popular oldies group from here.They were pretty well known all over the US in their day.The lead singer, Steve Jarrell, wrote and sang a song some of you might recognise called "I've Still Got Sand In My Shoes". Several family members and friends were there.I danced till I was wringing wet with sweat !! But it was great. Then the next day was Grandparents Day, so DH and I had lunch with 2 of our DGK's. Oh, and DH bought an ice cream cake, and we had it with one of our DD's and her kids before we went to the park. So, it was a great birthday.And, since I don't feel,act or (HOPEFULLY) look like what I thought a person would at the age of 55, I've decided that I'm not getting OLDER ...I'm just COLLECTING NUMBERS !!!!!!
