Just booked our trip to Disney- Yippee!!
I'm pretty sure I should be sweeping, or unpacking, or one of the other million and one things I need to do, but it's more fun to book our trip to Disney. YIPPEE!! I can't wait for the first week in December to get here. Natalie is going to have such a great time. We're staying at the Caribbean Beach this time, which will be a new one for us. Coronado is our favorite, but it's booked with conventions. I'm sure the Caribbean is great, too. Any of you that have stayed there, tell me all about it! I'm calling tomorrow to make restaurant and special event-type reservations. I'm SOOOOOOO excited! Did I mention that I love AAA? They always have great deals!!! I'm sure Mickey can't wait to see us, LOL!
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort when we went in 2004. It was nice and pretty. We really didn't spend much time there because we were either at the parks or just sleeping in our room. Planning a Disney trip is so much fun, isn't it? We had a breakfast with the characters in 2004 at The Beach Club in the Cape May Cafe. We saw Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. It was a buffet with some great breakfast foods. When we went this past June, we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's where we saw Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Donald Duck. It also had a buffet. I liked Chef Mickey's more than Cape May Cafe. I don't know if it was because my sister and nieces and nephew were there too, or just because we got to see more characters, but it was a lot of fun. My dd got her hair done at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique if you want to do something like that. It was $40 for a princess hairdo, and glittery make-up. It was really really cute and my 9 yr old loved it, and so did my 4 yr old nieces. If you do want to do that, book it NOW. There is one in downtown Disney and one in CInderella's Castle. ok, i could go on and on but I'll stop now! LOL
We are headed to Disney tomorrow. That is what Jessica wanted for her 14th birthday. We have annual passes and relatives in Orlando ,so we cut our costs dramatically. I am hoping it is not rainy. Have a great vacation! I love the Caribbean beach. My hubby and I used to walk around the little beach at that resort all the time.
Deanna, we will be @ CBR at the same time!!!!!!!!!
Deanna, we will be there from 12/1 through 12/10 - we are doing 7 days of Disney parks, and also Sea World and maybe Universal. We have our tickets for Cirque and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and all of our dinner reservations confirmed, our park days planned.....LOL
Deanna, between your activities and ours, *if* we both have time, maybe we can meet up at some point?
that's awesome Deanna ...when me and my mom went that is where we stayed = ) it was okay i guess like other posters we did not stay there much at all lol...have a great time!
I'm excited to be trying a new resort. This one sounds great like the others I've been to! There are so many cool character things to do that my head i s spinning. DH and I went multiple kids before Natalie was born, but never did much with characters other than just by-chance meetings. I really can't wait to do character stuff now! Karen, that would be cool! We are only staying 3 nights and 4 full days. Figured that was probably plenty for Natalie. It would be so neat to meet you!! I wonder if there's any chance of actually coordinating that at Disney?!! LOL Once I make some reservations, I'll have a better idea about our plans.
Well, I won't be at CBR but I may be down there for a conference being held at Disney on the 5 - 7th. I would be staying at WDW but not sure of which hotel.
