I'm so excited!
My sister, who lives in CA, called this morning and asked if she and my 17 y/o nephew could come and spend Christmas with us! She and her S.O. recently broke up and she said she does not want to be in San Fran alone for Christmas this year. The last time she was *home* for Christmas was 4 years ago, when my Mom was dying. Since then, our Christmas's have really been scaled down. My 2 oldest have been going to NC to be with their birth mom for Christmas, and Jeff and Jen have been splitting time between home and S.O.'s homes for Christmas; my other sister lives in FL now, and my extended relatives have either died in the last few years, or live away, so what used to be a houseful at my house every year for Christmas has sadly dwindled to not much of a holiday for me. So I'm really excited - they will be staying with me, I am not working now, and I'm *really* looking forward to it!!!!!
That IS exciting! It will be a great holiday!
Great news...
Karen, that's awesome! This year will be the first time we'll have someone other than the four of us for Christmas because my mom's moving in with us next month!!! I'm excited about that. You're going to have such a great holiday!
That sounds like fun!
Sounds fun, good for you!!
Spoke with FL sister a while ago, and she is going to come too!
Karen, that sounds like a wonderful Christmas, you must be so excited. there is nothing like a crowd for the holidays.
That's great news!

That's great, Karen! Sounds like it will be a fun Christmas for you this year!
Karen that is wonderful. I am so excited for you!! It's always great to have family around the holidays.
It sounds like you will have an exciting Christmas! It's nice to have something to look forward too.
Wonderful news! Think of the fun you'll have preparing for Christmas this year.
How fun! I bet you will have the best time!
YEAH! I'd be excited, too! As for myself, I'm looking forward to a much better Christmas than last year. LOL!
That sounds like something that would have me more excited than Christmas itself.
Trina, I guess you ARE! Are you going to visit your parents this year, or are they planning to visit you, over Christmas?
We haven't decided yet for sure, but we'll probably spend Christmas in VA with my parents. After all, we were supposed to go last year but never made it. Also, my parents traveled our way twice last year, once in late January to deliver our Christmas gifts and then again in April when I had my surgery.
