This is why I deem men very simple...
Can you tell I'm on a fun streak with my hubby? It just makes me laugh! So, yesterday we go to a Rockies game with a bunch of old college buddies and Scott's best friend poured whiskey into my coke and told me to drink the whole thing. Not thinking well on my feet, not to mention I'm a terrible liar, I looked at him and my husband and the look on my face was like, "What should I do?" (I'm preggers, right, but I can't tell anyone...hhhmmmm...) So he figures it out, high fives me all night because he knows it's taken us a year to conceive, and keeps it a secret. The boys never really talked about it last night because there were so many other friends around that we didn't want to tell. Forward to this morning when they go fishing. After 4 hours, Scott returns. I asked him, so did you and Todd talk about our news at all? His reply: "Nope, we actually talked about fishing the entire time." Simple. Simple. Simple.
Lol. I agree. lol
That's funny... we ladies would have to every single detail! When my husband goes out with his friends, I'm constantly asking about the friend's wife/kids/work whatever when he gets home. His response to every question? "I dunno"
I don't know how to make a link, but this explains it all. This is too funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BxckAMaTDc My dh passed this along to me and now any time anything happens, he replies "honey, I'm in my tv box or nothing box, etc." Your husband was in his fishing box not his dh box or daddy box.

I think that dude has been inside my husband's head. If he's thinking about money, that is all he thinks about. If he's thinking about cameras, that is all he thinks about. It must be why he doesn't "hear" me, when he's deep in thought. Gary's boxes: Me Kids Cars (probably with separate sub-boxes for Taurus, Saturn, and Passat!) Small engines, with sub-boxes for lawnmowers, snowblowers and roto-tiller.) Computers (ours and other peoples) History Channel Where he imitates the wife saying, "Our baby's dead," and the man saying, "huh?" That would be my husband! The "nothing" box makes sense, too!
Yep, it made sense to me, too. If it had been Heidi and a girlfriend of hers, and they'd gone to lunch the next day, the first topic of conversation would have been baby stuff and then a multitude of other topics (wires everywhere). But the guys were in their fishing box. And that is ALL that was on their minds. It is just too funny but really is true.
Oh and thanks for doing the link. One day I'll take the time and patience to learn to post pics and make my own links. I keep trying to learn new tricks.
It's okay. I really don't mind making links for people. DH watched the video and agreed he had little boxes and that they don't touch each other!
