Notepad or coaster?
If you had the choice between a notepad or a coaster, and they were only inches apart on the desk, which would you choose? hhhmmm...my husband chose the notepad this morning.
LOL!!!!!!! You crack me up.
Well, since it was a man who did it it makes total since! LOL!
Coaster! But, he's a man! LOL!
Heck, my dh would have just left a water ring on the table, after all he doesn't do the dusting. LOL
rofl
Hmmm. Good experiment to try tonight. lol
I hear ya! If it were my hubby he would have skipped the note pad and the coaster. He would have just put it on the desk! I have given up on teaching him that drinks leave rings! I now have glass on top of our side table to protect my antique trunk table. My BIL visited and managed to leave a drink on our dresser that left a ring. The dresser has a large runner on it but he skipped that and left the drink on the wood. Argggh! Men!
It wouldn't bother me to use the notepad. We use magazines, DVD boxes, notepads, whatever is handy! If it were me I'd remove the real coaster entirely and use the notepad for double duty. Less crowded desk that way.
*I* would have grabbed the notepad. DH, on the other hand, would *probably* have grabbed the coaster. I have to admit, though we have some really cool coasters that were not all that cheap, I normally don't use them. :-( My way of thinking is there is SO MUCH stuff on our desks, a coaster just adds to the clutter, so I use the deskpad calendar to set my drinks on.
I go through this with my KIDS all of the time. They just don't get it. Then again why would they. What gets me is one child will leave a drink on the kitchen table...another child will help me bring in groceries, place the bag on the table and knock over the drink....
we can't leave drinks down at our house. The cat doesn't like them left around. He will dip his paw in and flick it around and just as your getting ready to go get it from him he will look at you and knock it over.
Okay, Annie2, I'm the one who set the soda can, on the table and then I was the one who knocked it over! Fortunately, it was almost empty, anyway, so it didn't make a very big mess! LOL!
LOL, your stories are crackin' me up... I just think that it's such a waste of paper if the note pad is used, not to mention it had important phone numbers on it. You would think he would have noticed...aaaahhhhh, men.
