Had To Call The Doctor Yesterday!
All day, off and on, I kept getting this uncomfortable, but not painfull, cramp in my lower abdomen. It felt like it would kind of harden and then go away. I layed down on the couch on my left side and made sure I was drinking plenty of water, but it wouldn't go away. It started to be more on my right side than in the middle, and my back would sometimes hurt too, but not all the time. I started to think that it might be contractions. I never experienced any of that with Rylee, so I really don't know what to look for. The doctor called me back, after waiting for an hour since she was delivering a baby, and said that it sounded like ligament pain. The only thing that concerns me is that it would come and go. The doctor I spoke to yesterday, I do not like at all! She delt with me my last pregnancy while I was miscarrying, and just made me feel like another patient than a person suffering. It slowed down a lot during the nioght, but I still had it. This morning, I felt fine. I then had this huge tightening on my left side, and put my hand there. I think it was my baby stretching, because it went away as soon as I put my hand down. It was so neat and weird at the same time. I am pretty sure it was him, but I am still freaking out! I almost cried this morning to my DH and told him that this was the reason why I needed a doppler!!! He told me that I was fine, and that as long as I wasn't in any pain and wasn't bleeding, then I am ok. I know he is right, but I am still probably going to call the doctor tomorrow and see if I can come in to hear the heartbeat. What do you all think? Does that sound like ligament pain to you? This pregnancy is going to be a loooooong one!!!!!
When DD was in the womb, she would stretch out so much that I could feel her toes. Only she wouldn't pull away when I touched her, she'd press harder. It was right under my ribs on by right side. While it didn't hurt, it was very uncomfortable. I would call your regular doctor tomorrow a.m. and see what he says. Hugs. I know you are feeling anxious. Take it easy today and try to stay comfortable.
Ouch. I remember having ligament pain, when I would just move wrong. It would be a strong, crampy pain, but usually didn't last too long. Once in a while, that still happens! The baby is getting a little bit bigger. It could be that things are just stretching a little more. I would probably call the doctor to make sure, though. A FHT check would put your mind at ease.
I've been experiencing somewhat of the same thing and they are ligament pain from what my doctor said. I'm also having Braxton Hicks contractions but those are different than these type of feelings that you're feeling. I'd call just to have a piece of mind but I think everything is just fine! Our babies are growing lots right now and we're growing right along with them!
