Today was my 4's first day of school. My oldest dd who is in 8th grade found out one of her classmates is in a coma and not expected to make it. From what dd said she had headaches and nose bleeds. But I guess she went down to pick up a basketball and passed out. They say she has a huge tumor that they are going to do surgery on in the morning but they don't expect her to make it. They told the 8th grade class that the surgery can take up to 20 hours.It is just heartbreaking I knew her Mom she was a teacher at the kids school up until 2 years ago. So please say prayers for her. For the past 3 years there has been 3 girls die from dkids school. Its just so sad and my heartaches for her and her family

Wow, 3 kids died in your kids schools in the past 3 years? That is shocking and so sad.

I hope your daughter is o.k., what horrible news to hear.

She came out of Surgery and is doing okay. Its a mirical she made it they said but its the next 24 to 48 hours. they were confindent that they got all the tumor. What a blessing. I was so happy to hear that this part was over
