My older boys have been gone since July 1. My youngest ds is staying with his Dad for the week. Ahhhhhhhhh, I did not realize how tired I was and how badly I needed this break!!! I took two naps yesterday, watched whatever *I* wanted to watch on TV and did whatever I wanted!!!! lol Today I swam and laid in the sun reading for awhile, showered, and went shopping. Now I am back home, I put some new decorations out and am actually in the mood to CLEAN HOUSE!! I LOVE IT. This has been the best day. The stereo is playing MY music and I am rearranging Blakes room for him, cleaning it and putting new bedding on his bed.

Why is it that when they are all GONE I get in this obsessive cleaning/shopping/decorating mode. I wish I was like this 24/7!!!! I LOVE THIS. Of course, I miss them. I didn't really know what to do with myself yesterday. I can't wait for them to come home and see the house...and tell me all about their trips.

I am not as into cleaning in the summer. I know it is because my boys are home more, and just mess it up right after I clean. When they are in school, I clean on Mondays. I know with them in school all week, it will stay cleaner longer.

Glad you are relaxing, and enjoying your alone time. I hope the boys also have a good time with their Dad.
