My brother and his wife are on vacation and we are watching there dogs. We go let them out to go potty and bring them in. Well dh went by to let them out and there black lab almost attacked him. He would let him in and everytime dh opened the door he would charge at him. So dh called me from work and said that he couldn't let them out because of what happened. Dh and I have been over there millions of times and he has never bothered any of us. I go over let them out he was okay but just stand offish. I let them out and go back to let them in all was okay. My brother had called and I told him what had happened and all his wife could do was laugh. I don't think it was to funny. Dh didn't think it was to funny. So I hear from my brother later that day her Mom came down to spend a few days at the house well he did the same thing to her. And my brothers wife didn't think it was to funny then. I am scared now of this dog. and I really don't want my kids around it eitheram I wrong.Dh and I along with our kids have been around this dog ever since he was just a few weeks old. Am I wrong for not wanting to be around this dog

Sounds to me that if your brother wants his dogs walked and fed, he'd better cut his vacation short. I certainly wouldn't go near a dog that acted like it was attacking.

No, you are definitely not wrong. I would not go over there again either. I'd tell my brother to come home and take care of his dog, or put it in a kennel for the duration of the trip.
