A few weeks back I posted about about my girls having a party, and one of the moms wanted the younger sister to come along etc..I told the mom if she stayed with the younger one she could go, but since she is mean to Faith, didnt want her there with out her parent..

Anyways, we had the birthday party yesterday. It was a really fun day for all the kids. Yes, the mother did show up with the younger child and stayed the whole time. There were 10 kids total, actually only 9 on the party list(which included my 2 girls)and the univited guest LOL...The mom paid for her youngest daughters bear(it was at Build a bear), but we did buy her food at Chik filet and gave her a goodie bag as well..I cant be mean to any child. I still felt guilty, I dont know why.
The girl showed her true colors by trying to push herself first in line(they would have the kids stay in a line to go through the store and to the stations).
All in all, it was a great day, we did the Build a bear, then went up to the food court and had lunch at Chik Filet, we did cake, presents, and handed out goodie bags. Then we went downstairs to the Carousel. They send you postcards in the mail for a free ride for up to 10 people on a birthday.
We were at the mall from 4-7:30 and the kids didnt want to leave
I am glad its over, but it was really much less stress to have it there then at home like we usually do it.
I am glad birthdays are only once a year

The other mom seemed to step up to the plate, as well. Good for you for talking to her. I know it's always a sticky situation when other siblings are involved.

I'm glad it all turned out well. I'm sorry the little girl is so rude, but that is really her mother's problem and not yours.

I'm glad it went well. This was our first year having birthday parties someplace rather than home and I don't think I'll ever have one at home again lol!!
