Did you have any good yard sale finds today? I didn't find much but I got my 4 year old the deluxe cinderella costume dress for Halloween for $1. I would say she's gotten a $1's use of it already twirling around lol!

Actually I went but didn't find anything today! It just depends on the day I guess. Since the yard sale season began I found a rock yard fountain and paid 25 dollars for that. A similar one at Lowes is around 100 dollars! I was quite pleased. Then I found a rot iron patio set for 125.00 with custom made cushions, it came with a coffee table, side table, sofa, and chair, it is so nice and everytime it rains I haul the cushions in so that they stay nice, I was in the market for a patio set and didn't want to spend anywhere from 200 to 500 dollars for one and thanks to a yard sale I didn't have to, I was so excited! I have pictures I could post of both items but I have to see if I can try and do that. I've gotten stuff for my kids and a few shirts for dh from time to time. Your find sounded like a good one and I'm sure that your little girl will get alot of enjoyment out of it and only for a dollar you can't beat that!

It sounds like you have found some major deals! I've gotten my kids tons and tons of nice clothes over the years, tons of toys. I collect a corelle pattern that is discontinued and I'm always on the hunt for that. Last weekend I got some really cute decorations for fall. One of the funnest ( I know it's not a word lol) was a couple years ago. Ds had been asking me for moon shoes and they were $40 at walmart. I was on my way out to yard sale and he said to remember he wanted moon shoes. I said I probably wouldn't find those but I'd look. The first yard sale I went to had 2 pair for $2 each, so I got a pair for him and his sister. They were brand new from that previous Christmas. We'll have to start swapping yard sale find stories.

Wow, good for you on the moon shoes! I found carpet skates at a yard sale for a dollar, they are 20.00 new. I just think someone elses junk is your treasure just waiting to be found!!
