I have a potted plant in my front garden. I have no clue what it's called or it's type. I would like to plant it in the garden but not sure how it would react. Can anyone tell me what I am growing?

I barely know what I am doing in the garden but my green thumb is starting to show. I always said I can grow babies but not plants.

OK - I lied. ROFL. There was no photo there when I opened the email. I accidentally clicked *print* when I was trying to close it. I closed it. I went to the printer to throw away the *blank* page. And there was your photo! LOL So I reopened the email, and sure enough, it was there.

So....................does anyone know what this is?

I know, I know *jumps up and waves arms excitedly*. I had a couple of these that a friend gave me. It is a swamp lily. I feel so smart, because I know almost nothing about plants/flowers and this is one of the few things I do know--LOL.
