I have to admit I'm a little jealous. Mind you, I know how hot some of you have it and maybe if that was my world all summer I wouldn't be envious. BUT...last night I actually had to turn the HEAT on in my house. Send some of the warm weather my way please!!!
It's been cool in WI, too. Apparently, yesterday, it was in the 80's at some point, but it was in the 70's when I came home from work, at 5:30pm and after supper it was in the 60's. I was at my friend's house for a few hours last night, and I was cold. It doesn't help if it's warm and I'm stuck inside all day. I keep waiting for the morning that I take the dog outside and I have to think, "Wow, today's going to be a scorcher." It's so cool at night, that I almost need a sweater on that first trip outside.
You can have some of this weather.. the low last night was like 75.. It really doesn't even give the a/c a break... seems like it has been running all night.
We're getting very warm weather too. I went outside barefoot around 9pm and the cement was still warm!
I'd love to send you some heat! I took the kids to the beach yesterday to cool off and even there it was super hot with no breeze. I hear we are getting ready to cool off a bit, so we just have to get through today. Sending **heat** vibes your way!
The last few days have been nice here. It's in the low 80s, but the humidity is low. Our problem is smoke. The North Carolina wildfires are not far from us, and the smoke is horrible. Everything stinks, and it burn our eyes. If I send the heat, may I include the smoke?
I think at this point I'd even take a little of the smoke.
