Nothing like the weather people have been suffering in other parts of the country, but several tree limbs off and some big trees down. Everyone on my block is OK, just had power out for about half an hour. I am a little anxious because I can't reach my eldest son, who would ordinarily be on the phone alerting me to bad weather and wanting to know if we got any storms. But I'm sure he'll call soon.

And, of course, he just called. He was out in the hall taking a pizza delivery, and his partner was using my son's cell to report a broken branch over a wire and sparks. Do you EVER get over being a mommy? I guess not!

I'm glad you and your son are okay. This must be some of the weather we had over the weekend! Areas of WI were very hard hit from the rain.

Glad he's okay. Us too. I was driving home on back country roads and had to detour due to downed power lines.
I am so happy that the house we're building will have a generator.
