So many birthdays this month. How cool!

DS got invited to a birthday party for a classmate. We got the invitation on Wednesday afterschool for this Sunday! I thought it was rather short notice.

Boy am I glad I spoke to the birthday boy's mom. I inquired politely about some details for the party. She informed me and then she apologized to me for the short notice. She shared that the party was going to be for next Sunday but they had to move it up. Dad's a marine and he's been called up.

Is it strange that I felt my heart breaking when she mentioned this?

Anyway, just thought I'd share some of my day with some friends. Dh is too busy with the basketball playoffs. lol

Awww, how sad. I'm just glad he is going to be able to share his son's birthday before he goes. I guess that is why we should never be quick to judge...you never know what the situation is on the other end...

Wow, hopefully the party went well. Glad the dad got to be there.. So heart breaking. My BIL is deployed, he left the 3rd of January and will be there until January of next year. Pretty rough on everyone involved.
