Photo Sizing...
Is there a place where you can resize your photos online anymore? My new program doesn't make them small enough to post here. Just wondering if there is still a place online where you can do it easily. I can even get one small enough to use for a profile photo. Thanks.
I have no idea, since we have photo-editing software on our computers, and I don't need an online source. What program are you using? d-klein at charter dot net if you want to send them to me.
Thanks, Dawn. I used to have Photoshop on my computer, but my computer died and on my new one my DH just has Picassa for me. There is probably a way to resize the photos smaller, but I can't find it. LOL I did find a site online and I was atleast able to get one small enough to put in my profile, but I need to play around with it. Thanks again!
I hate Picassa. I have 2 different versions of Photoshop, but I use Irfanview to resize for posting here. You can d/l it free, it's REALLY easy to use and you don't lose much photo quality/clarity when resizing using Irfanview.
I love Picasa and it's easy to resize all you have to do is send the photo through picasa to your email address and it's resized for you...also another option is paint and go to sketch/skew and size it down sometimes i do 50/50 and other times 15/15 depending on the megapixel of the camera i'm using = )
I've used photobucket.com with good luck
I use photobucket for quick resizing for posting on message boards- it's really easy now that they have the pre-set sizes! For editing pictures, I use Picasa or photoshop depending on how much I am doing to them. For actually sharing my pictures with friends and family, I have switched to keeping everything on ViewMyLife.com, so that they can download the full-sized picture without me having to email attachments (size restrictions always make it such a pain!). I like that everything is saved in there too as a backup in case anything ever happens to my computer.
View My Life I use Paint Shop Pro to resize my pictures. I can optimize a jpg file, but just clicking up or down arrows, while it shows how the filesize is changing, so I click it just enough to keep the pictures under 50K, for posting here.
Thanks for linking to that site, I wasn't sure how to on here
You're welcome!
