I've been thinking about you, how have you been? Has the pills been helping with your vomiting? Are you able to keep more down? What's up with the job, have you started?
I hope that she doesn't mind my updating you all. She has had some added stress in her life this past week. Last night she was admitted to the hospital for dehydration. Her mom called me & told me that she just couldn't keep anything down & they were keeping her overnight. I am sure she would appreciate your thoughts.
I hope she feels better soon. Thanks for the update, Emily. Wish her well from us!
I'm sorry to hear that. She'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks Emily. If you do hear form her or her mom again, please let them know that we are all praying for her.
I just tried calling her, but she wasn't home. I will let them know that you are all thinking of her & tell her to post here as soon as she can.
Emily, please let her know I am thinking of her, tell her to please call me when she is feeling better!!!!
I hope she is feeling better soon! A liter or 2 of IV fluids, can really help a person feel better! I've seen it happen!
I will let her know.
Thank you Emily for updating everyone and thank you all for your concern/thoughts. I've been sick pretty much off and on the whole time I've been pregnant. I started feeling really bad on Sunday but contributed it to some outside stress that I've been dealing with. Wednesday morning I was feeling just HORRIBLE and realized that I hadn't peed all morning long and couldn't remember going on Tuesday either. I called my doctor's office and they told me to come straight in. I got to the doctor and had to wait 45 minutes to be seen in that 45 mins I had to run to the bathroom 3 times to throw up. Once I got back to the exam room my doctor took one look at me and told me I was going to be admitted. We did do an ultrasound and we saw the baby and STRONG heartbeat. I walked next door to the hospital and they were waiting for me with a room and immediately hooked me up to an IV. I was on an IV getting fluids and Zofran by IV from Wednesday afternoon until today (Friday) at 4:30pm. In my time there he also had a dietician come and talk to me about the types of diets for people with hyperemisis (which I guess is what they are diagnosing me with) and I pretty much have to eat every 2 hours when I'm awake. Also in my time there they decided that I had a virus which probabyl contributed to me not being able to keep anything down, I ran fever until yesterday evening. I've been home a couple hours and have already thrown up once so I'm concerned again, ugh but I'm going to keep a close eye on it.
You poor thing! I bet you felt a lot better with the IV fluid and the Zofran. Hope you are feeling better soon!
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Hopefully this will ease up the further along you get in your pregnancy. Glad you are home, and doing better.
Oh dear, you have had a time of it! Hope you are feeling better now.
I hope you start to feel better soon. Have a nice weekend
How are you feeling today? Better, I hope. Here's hoping for a quick end to the morning sickness/virus /whatever is causing you to feel this way.
Hope you are feeling better now!
Thank you everyone, I'm feeling MUCH better as long as I keep food in my stomach. I was able to go to my aunt's wedding yesterday and feel GREAT most of the day. I turned 9 weeks on yesterday so I'm hoping that maybe I'll start feeling MUCH better really soon.
In my thoughts..
I hop you are on the upward swing! I know with Sarah, around 12-13 weeks, the nausea and vomiting just magically disappeared.
I hope today you are feeling better.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope as the first trimester ends so does all the naseua.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope things keep improving!
