One boy, one girl -- one dorm room

I just read that article! I wouldn't have liked it and Sarah says she wouldn't like it, either. She is slated to move in with a girl she met this year, for the next school year.

i have a child going off to college next fall, and i am having enough trouble dealing with the fact that he has signed up for a coed dorm! LOL

OMG When I went to Penn they had a house mother for the girls dorms, and we had to be signed in before curfew. How times have changed.

Wow... I can't say that I would like MY children to do this. But, for myself, I can understand it. When I moved out, it was with two guys. I've just always gotten along better with guys. When I lived with girls, it didn't work out as well.

I would not want my kids to do it either. But, that being said, woman are NOT easy to live with. I had 3 female roommates in college and wow, the fights some of the girls had!

honest to goodness it was not me fighting, i'm a wimp and hate confrontation and frankly, just didn't do anything to tick anyone off. LOL

the fights were kinda fun to watch because they were always about something so STUPID! :)

I can so see doing that, and it being about nothing other than friendship and compatability in living together. I probably wouldn't mind dd doing it if I knew it wasn't her boyfriend, or was a long time friend. I had tons of friends of both sexes my whole life, but I have to say I lean just a bit more towards men being great friends of mine. It doesn't have to mean anything, really.

Now if he's a hottie and dd's eyes are fluttering every time she hears his name, nope. :)
