Tooth Whiting agents...
Are there any good over the counter tooth whitning agents out there that anyone here has tried? Maybe a good toothpaste or something like that? Has anyone tried the strips and do they work? My dd is fifteen and her teeth are yellow I think from wearing her braces that have been off for awhile. Is their a safe product out there that isn't expensive? What should I try?
DD swears by Crest Whitestrips.
The crest whitestrips work well.
I will get those for her to try, thank you ladies...
What age is ok for whitening products. My son who is only 8 is always wanting me to buy the whitening toothpaste. He was disappointed when he went for his cleaning and his teeth were still yellowish (his natural color) after they were done.
There's a $5 coupon in the paper today for Crest Whitestrips. It'd be worth buying the paper for the coupon if you're going to buy them (if you don't already get the Sunday paper). I've used the Whitestrips in the past and they really do work. Paula, I'd ask the dentist. He'll be able to tell you what's safe for an 8yo to use.
I found this whitening gel called plus white that works really well on my teeth! It's a 5 minute speed whitening gel. All I have to do is put the gel on my teeth for 5 minutes and then brush. It's really inexpensive. I think I paid 5 or 6 dollars for it at the drugstore.
